There was a time when I looked forward to waking up/getting out of school/college/work and getting on the computer to draw. Between real life getting in the way and losing inspiration here and there, it seems that I keep coming back and finding fewer and fewer pixel artists and digital dollers still in the field. Most of my follows on here yield back other media even though I follow more pixel people than others (I think). Are we dying?
I'm still hanging onto the idea of a website, and it's mainly because I want to have decorated contests. I know that I could do the contests here, but getting the word out is one problem, and while I could motivate with points or art, I wouldn't be able to decorate the page so much without just hosting an image of the whole thing.
... Actually, thinking on it, I could just do that. But I still miss having a site.
I'm still loving the design I had going when I talked about remaking a site yurrrrrrrrrrrs ago, so it's still a possibility. Just don't know if it would be a ghost town, even with contests and things going on, since the community seems to have moved onto other things now.
Real life stuffs
After being in my current field for about 6 years (a full six years in June, not including school time), I'm feeling a career change coming and am registered to go back to school in April. I'll still be working full time... and then going to school part time after.
There goes all my free time, right? Possibly. I'll be around on weekends, though, and may... just may... get the site deal figured out.
In the meantime, though... have a poll.
